We will be returning to Africa July 13th. First we will be in Zimbabwe and later in Uganda. In early August, there will be a small missions trip coming for 10 days to help with our projects. All of you are most welcome to make a trip to see what we have accomplished. Just let us know.
We have received some funds to make water available in the areas we serve in Zimbabwe. They already have the boreholes, which is another term for wells. Last year when my friend Samson was alive, he showed several of them to me, and asked for help to get them working again. Each one serves a small group of huts, and that actually saves them lots of time because they don't have to spend half their day going to, waiting in line, and bringing back water to their huts. During the time of the war the steel of the pipes and pumps were taken for weapons, so we need to provide that, and there are some resources I think I can tap into. Any help would be greatly appreciated
In Uganda, we will try and finish the small laboratory for the clinic where we provided the electricity last year.
I am planning on doing a one month rotation in community health as a completion of my INMED course while I am in Africa, but I'm not sure yet where it will be.
It is because of GOD first, and then all of you who send us some of your hard earned money, that makes any of this possible. Thank you. We do pray we are making the LORD's love and Presence real to our friends there and showing His Love for them in particular.
Your friend, Myrna
